1. I got some hater mail in response to yesterday's post. I thought I might which made me contemplate not posting it, but i know there is value in sharing all of the process (esp for ppl considering foster care/adopting from foster care) so I did it anyway. oh well
2. Tomorrow we are taking my mom into the city (NYC) to see a show. I really hope I can find/get a good discount on tickets.
3. considering #2, it was very good timing that refund from our amended tax return arrived last night.
4. Christmas is (basically) next week. OMG - sooo not ready!!
5. Court date number one has been scheduled...for before christmas...how can i possibly focus on the holiday(s) with all this going on??
6. I'm anxious about DW and I both being so far from the kids tomorrow. Is that crazy? this is the furthest distance and time-to-get-there-in-an-emergency wise we have both been from them at the same time.
7. Today is Daisy's nursery room holiday party at school and tomorrow the 2's room will be having a potty party for Rosebud (whom they've deemed to be fully trained). So cute.
8. Today Sprout has "holiday shop" at school where he brings his own money and can purchase gifts for his list of people. He is SO excited about it. I wonder if his 4th grade helper is going to be confused by the fact that he has 3 moms on his list...
9. i'm also thinking there is no way that he's going to wait until christmas to give them to us
10. i cant tell you how relieved i am to have that horrible toothache gone. i was seriously doubting my dentist's dx of "nothing's wrong except for a sinus infection" but its looking like he was right...
1. Woke up with a sore throat this morning, ugh. I stayed home in hopes of getting better and not canceling on the work Christmas party I've already paid for, tomorrow's surprise shower at Jen's office, hosting a dinner party on Thursday night, baking cookies with a friend this weekend, etc etc etc...
2. I finally made some progress on Christmas presents. I got my mom to tell me what she wanted for once. Normally I try to think of everything on my own, but this fall has just been too crazy to devote the amount of time I need to do that. Will do better next year.
3. I can't get over how beautiful Jen is with her baby belly. I'm obsessed.
4. Reminding myself that I'm supposed to be resting, not cleaning, organizing, etc.
Ugh CT, that sucks. But I'm glad you posted it. There are always going to be haters... don't let them stop you from documenting the whole process. Years from now, you'll appreciate having it all down for posterity sake.

CT, as a famous publicized iPhone text exchange states, haters will hate, potatoes will potate, and alligators will alligate. As tmm and Meegs said, don't let it stop you (and I know you don't) from sharing the process if that's what you feel you should do - it certainly inspires me and lots of other people. For every hater, you have lots of people who support you.
My Mom called to ask what the Kiddos did cute yesterday (she calls me every weekday to ask), and when I asked her if she was going to swimming, she let me know she was but had to go to the doctor right after. Come to find out that she had blood and urine tests YESTERDAY and the doctor needs to see her TODAY.
For some reason this bit of news hit me hard. I wish I could be there with her. What does the doctor have to say?
Last night we took our Christmas pictures...it was a LATE night for all.
I have a doctor's appointment today that I am looking forward to. I haven't seen this doctor since she gave birth to her son.
I called in sick for the whole day, but I don't feel like doing anything.
I am torn about going to spend Christmas with my Mom or with C's family. I really want to be with both. (Don't get upset but...) I will be spending Christmas with my Mom for many reasons, but the main reason is my Mother's health is not the best.
I am glad that C, Kiddos and myself will be celebrating our family Christmas on New Year's eve/New Year's day.
My brother will be coming back from Korea in February, he has been overseas for over 6 years. He is my favorite.
C and I are struggling through the stress of the season. I pray that we can find a moment to get away together for a brief time in January.
Arguing and disagreements can make one feel like crap, but it is all a part of a relationships and changes in a household structure. (At least for some.)
1. We have to move out of our house in 17 days and we haven't signed the lease for the new house or packed anything.
2. I need to decorate the Christmas tree.
3. Apple sleeps so much better when she is swaddled.
4. J has been really sensitive lately and it's getting annoying.
5. My younger SIL thinks she knows how to care for my children better than I do because she is a new mom. She gave Owl a bottle to put her to sleep when she was watching the kids the other night (she doesn't take a bottle, she's 18 months), Owl drained the bottle, played with it, and resumed her pre bottle screaming. I kind of laughed in her face when she told me...
6. I need more help keeping the house clean, it's become a major chore now that we have 4 kids.
7. I think the girls are having pancakes for breakfast, I should get started soon.
8. I love my mei tai so much that I want to get a second one so I can carry both girls at the same time.
9. I need to get outside with the kids more often, I'm always in the house.
10. We need to buy Christmas dresses for the girls.
1. I am crushed that MY FAMILY (S, the kiddos, and I) won't be together for Christmas.
2. I know S wants to be with her mom, and I fully support that, but I *hate* the message it will send to my family (i.e. that we are not a "real" family and can be split up over the holidays).
3. Plus I recently made this big dramatic speech to my mom about how we are a family and will be together at the holidays and if she wants to see me or the kids, S will have to be there too, etc, etc. (Note to self: save speeches until you know what your wife is going to do.)
4. On the way home from taking Christmas pictures last night, S asked "do we have to do this every year?" My first attempt at a family holiday tradition=FAIL.
5. I can't believe I spent over $1k on Christmas plane tickets for me, S, and the kids and we aren't even going to be in the same city for my 5 day break from work.
6. Maybe I shouldn't have done TTT while drowning in disappointment. Sorry to be such a downer.
7. Happy thoughts, happy thoughts... I got a cute picture of Little Man at lunch this weekend. Maybe I'll even post it in Thursday's thread!
8. Ok, that's about all the happy I can muster right now, so I'll leave it there.
married 03/08/08 -- ttc with PCOS (dx 2005) & DS

Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!
finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
1. The kids are so excited for Christmas. It is contagious! The Elf on the Shelf is a huge hit this year (and we aren't really doing the whole reporting on behavior tactic. They just love finding him!)
2. I am so happy L is done writing for 2011. She has been away writing the last 5 of 7 weekends. Another 12-18m. Sigh.
3. But like TT, I think we are going to have re-entry adjustments. I am so used to being the only adult on the weekends and making my own plans and doing what I want with the kids when I want to do it.
4. My ILs are coming later this week and staying for a week. Which means the kids move into our bedroom. Sigh.
5. The kids are signing Oh Tennenbaum in German for their holiday performance. Yesterday Gray sang the whole thing to us. Dude, my kid is speaking German and sounds awesome!
6. L and I are doing stockings only and I feel like what I have bought is so...blah. I know she will love the books I bought, but other than that, it is all kinda...eh. Humph.
7. My office is freezing. This isn't boding well for this winter. I have on a heavy sweater and I am still freezing. I need to get new fuzzy Crocs.
8. I was out yesterday and came back to 22 voicemails and 31 e-mails. Sigh.
9. CT - I didn't see the negative responses. I am sorry.
1. I finally finished all my Christmas shopping, and everything is wrapped and ready to go!
2. Unfortunately when I was buying stuff for my SIL, I was apparently a little distracted and had it sent straight to her (good) but forgot to check the gift box (bad)!! So she's getting her gift unwrapped, and with a receipt. Ugh.
3. I'm so distracted at work lately (hmmm... trend). Seriously having trouble getting stuff done. I think its the normal end of the year whatever, but its frustrating and only going to lead to franticness later.
4. I really want to find a new job. I really, really want to go back to school.
5. Gwen has a cold and slept like crap last night. I think I got 5 broken up hours all night.
6. Starting to think about Gwen's birthday. Thinking about a football theme since she loves football so much. And since ducks are her favorite, I though maybe the football player could be ducks.
7. Anyone want to help me with an invite design? Decor?
8. The pile of stuff on my desk is giving me the vapors.
9. My intern should be here shortly, so hopefully with him taking care of the busy work (copying/filing/etc), I can get rid of this pile.
10. MUST. DO. WORK!
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
CT, I'm sorry for the hater mail. Know that we're all here cheering your family on! TWB and N2A...sending hugs for the hard family decisions.
1. On the radio this morning they said, "it's 12 days until Christmas". GASP.
2. I need to figure out what else I'm getting my parents and bro/SIL besides photos of E. Not motivated.
3. Last week the official announcement was made that I'll be moving to the new hospital that is 30 minutes from home.
4. I'll be establishing the research program on that campus and getting things up and going in clinical areas that are new to me.
5. I am VERY excited but also nervous, scared and sad. I've been here for 7 years and have some very good friends.
6. My BFF who works here still can't believe I'm not just going there on a "loan". I will miss her like crazy but I would be a fool to pass up this opportunity.
7. My commute will be half or less what it is now (it's currently an hour and sometimes more with bad traffic). And the parking there is free, WOOT!
8. I have so much crap to do here to make sure I leave my projects in a good place. And so much stuff to clean from my office.
9. I will miss the view of Mt. Rainier from my office. This morning it is absolutely stunning.
10. This is my last full week of work until after the holidays. I'm taking two days next week and one the week after off. I need some down time at home for projects and cleaning.
1. Sorry about the hatin' CT... none of that from anyone here!! I think you have shown the utmost respect for the kids' bio family online, and I just really don't see what there is to hate about that.
2. Congrats on the job Seattle!
3. NWA & TWB - Splitting time and holidays between families is tough. Good luck getting it sorted out.
4. Administrative crap at my job is driving me nuts.
5. My office is freezing.
6. Last night we decorated gingerbread people and sugar cookie cut outs. I think it might be my best year yet!
7. Seriously, does no one know how to use a spreadsheet? It's not rocket science people.
8. We have a main present for everyone in the family we're buying for, and now just need a few small supplemental things.
9. I just spent 20 minutes unsuccessfully looking for an email about a training I need to go to. I think I need to clean the inbox...
10. I was awesomely productive on my day off yesterday. Now i want another one!

1. Luckily we did not miss the O this month and there are still follies growing away in there. Bad cramping was from a very active right ovary.
2. A little stressed now however because while there are many tiny unmeasurable follies which arent doing anything but there are five measuring from 10.5 to 13 on CD10. Clinic does not recomend insem if more than 3 are dominate but will within reason.
3. DW and I have discussed this a bit because if this cycle does not work for her she is on hold until summer because of work. I am going to be starting to try in February so that we are still trying and she will try to carry in two years if it works.
4. Are we crazy if we go on five dominate follies? She says go and I say go but kinda wanna barf.
5. We understand the risks and know that if by some chance they all fertilized we would have hard decisions to make.
6. The good news of the day is we calculated DWs graduate credits since she graduates this week and on January first her salary is going to increase almost 4k a year. Teachers where we live have not had an increase in four years. Happy Dance :-)
7. Only 7 more work days and DW and I have off until the new year YAY!. Boo though becuse that is going to make the TWW go slowwwwwwwwwwwww.
8. Really hoping the mail fairy bring me the decision letter from one of the two grad schools today.
9. I am shipping my exchange gift tomorrow and cant wait to see if my secret buddy likes their gift.
10. DW goes back fro another monitoring on Thursday so we will see whats going on in there. Hopefully it is nothing to crazy.
We had three BFN in the Fall of 2011. It is back on to some baby making come June. Swim little fellas, SWIM!!!!
3. Last week the official announcement was made that I'll be moving to the new hospital that is 30 minutes from home.
congrats!!!

Aww, thanks ladies. I love the support on this board and you better believe I'm gonna be here needing your support when I start working there!
It sounds like an awesome career move as well as a great quality of life change. My commute is also 1 hr+ and reducing that would making things so much easier! Good luck!
