NBR: Smartpone apps?

I jumped into this decade and got a Smartphone a few weeks ago (a Droid)! I?ve downloaded Words with Friends and Angry Birds (the really important things) but no other apps. What apps do you recommend?

 

I?d love an app that links different people?s calendars (mine and H?s) so that I could remember his schedule. Also, what app are you using for gmail and facebook? (It looks like there are different ones you can get, at least for gmail.) And how do you Bump from the phone??

 

One more question: Anyone know if you get charged for Skype calls if you use Verizon?

 

I totally sound like everyone?s mom who doesn?t know a thing about technology. I promise I am generally tech savvy.

This depends on what you're into. Some of my apps: TMZ, Fox Sports, 250+ Solitaire, Barcode Scanner, Bank of America, Bubble Buster, GasBuddy, Jewels, My Coffee Card (starbucks), TV Guide, Urbanspoon

 

Also, what app are you using for gmail and facebook?

I use the GMail app that was preinstalled on the phone. I don't really use GMail except for a couple things, so I don't really have a preference on how it runs. I use Hotmail as my main email account and for that I use that "Email" app that was preinstalled. Facebook, I use the Facebook app. They update it all the time and it pisses off my H so he just uses the browser to look at FB.

 

And how do you Bump from the phone??

When you're in the browser you can go into settings and disable java script. I always forget to do this and it makes other sites not work. So, to fix that, I downloaded the Opera browser and I Bump from there.

What apps do you recommend?  I mostly use - the Weather Channel app (I am slightly obsessed with the weather), redbox, words with friends, hanging with friends, pinterest, and lose it.

 

Also, what app are you using for gmail and facebook?  I don't use gmail.  I just set up my regular email on the app provided.  And, I use the regular fb app.   And how do you Bump from the phone??  I don't really bump from my phone.  I think it's a pita.    One more question: Anyone know if you get charged for Skype calls if you use Verizon?  No idea either.

I also have the Pampers GTG app. It's so much easier to put codes in my phone than logging on to their crappy site.

I didn't know they had one!  Thanks for the info - need to go get it.
