Safe diaper ointment

Is there any safe diaper rash ointment for cd? Sometimes when my dd has a bm her bum turns fire engine red and sometimes get welt/blisters, we think its something she is eating, just havent been able to figure it out. I havehad to use dispoable and lots of ointment to make her comfortable but would much rather keep her in cloth. TIA

I use coconut oil for the day-to-day redness. For something that looks worse than that, I use a smidge of Live Clean Baby (but I don't know if you have that in the States).

I like CJ's Butter and Homestead Baby Balm.

I used California Baby exclusively up until a few weeks ago - now I love CJ's Butter (ginger lime is my favorite so far), but keep CB around, especially because I can just pick it up at Target.

My daughter had a really bad rash at a week old. Grandma El's is amazing and cleared up her rash quickly! Worth every penny!

I really like Eco Sprout Bottom Balm. Comes in stick form so you don't have to get goop all over your fingers!

I love Grandma El's but you have to put it on lightly.  Less is better with that product.  Mainly because it does contain petroleum and can "clog" your diapers if your goop it on.  I've been using it nightly for 5 months and haven't had any issues with buildup or repelling, but I suppose any diaper rash cream could cause buildup if put on too thickly.
