Anyone measure behind at their first u/s? What ended up happening?

I had an u/s last Friday (7w2d), but was measuring 6w4d. HB was 136 and doc said that was good, but can't help but worry about baby measuring behind.

I measured MORE than a week behind until 10 weeks. I had a u/s every single week from 5 through 10. When they first found baby, they couldnt even date her because she was so small, but she had a great heartbeat! it was torture going every week not knowing which way things would go but, things turned out ok despite my REs being pretty pessimistic.

I measured several days behind at my first u/s (I was supposed to be 6w5d but measured 6w1d or something like that?)  At the next u/s two weeks later I was right on track.  Several of my friends mentioned the same thing--being behind at the first one.  It seems so subjective as to where the doctor or u/s tech clicks and drags to make their measurements when they do it anyway!

Thank you ladies! I feel better The doc did say that it could be off by a few days, but being the eternal pessimist...I had to get the word of my fellow IFers

In the 10 days between u/s #1 and #2 my babies put on 17 days of growth supposedly.  Obviously there's a margin of error in early ultrasounds
