Sign Language

I haven't done much research but have been trying to use some sign language with LO.

My question is, do you think she will learn it if I don't do it everytime? I am horrible about remembering to do it right before. I always remember during or right after.

Just like talking, the more consistent you are the better it goes. I'm not the best, but I stuck up some flashcards around the house to remind me.

I do it when I remember. Certainly not every time. He understands milk and eat so far (he gets very excited and happy when I do them and he immediately crawls to me for milk). He does not do the signs yet. My understanding is once they pick up a few signs, it will be easier to learn subsequent signs. Just keepmdoing it when you remember. I think during and after ismjst as helpful as before. 1ht on iPad.

My LO can do "more" and under stands eat, and milk.  We are also doing book, and all done.

Yes.  My guy learned "milk" and signs it regularly.  I was never consistent and my hubby didn't do it until he saw the babe sign milk then he got on board/didn't feel so silly maybe.  Now we're signing "more" and "all done".  I should probably add "water" (he loves it), "eat" and "book".  It is just a habit we have to get in to.  I think once they start signing back it gets easier to remember.
