at Christmas?
I am not much on matchy matchy things, but the kids usually coordinate. This year I bought B's dress early. Just bought Crash a sweater. Her dress is red and his sweater is light blue with a brown argyle pattern.
Not sure I'm feeling it.
What do you ladies think?
Re: What do we think or coordinating outfits for siblings
I like coordinating but not matchy-matchy. Then again, I cannot say that I won't have my boys in matching outfits once they are both here. LOL.
G is wearing brown tweed pants and a red sweater. This mainly means that DH and I won't be wearing black. DH will wear dark brown pants and who knows what shirt. I am wearing khakis, a red shirt and a fun white cardigan.
I think that as long as they are the both level of 'dressy' then it could work. It would depend on the tone of red for me. Could you get her a brown cardigan to go with the dress that would tie in the brown argyle?

Ok, so before having a kid, I was anti matching outfits. But now I like the idea of well coordinated outfits and once in a while, special occassions, matching. And for photos. I like the connection it shows. And I think there can be outfits that are very well coordinated that do not match but go together nicely without being obvious. Maybe it is that the outfits compliment each other well more than coordinating.
For everyday stuff, I'm not so fond of it.
What can I say...I'm a dork
