So I still have about 2 and a half months to go and I desperately need to go up a size or 2 in bras.
Do I just buy a nursing bra now?
or
Where can I get a cheap bras that I will only wear for 2ish months??? by cheap I would like to stay at or under $15. Is that possible? or should I just splurge?? but don't really want to splurge for something I will only wear for 2months
Re: Bra help please!!!
I went ahead and bought nursing bras. I found a deal at Motherhood Maternity where it was buy 3 get 1 free and the bras were about $20. I was also returning a top my MIL bought for me so essentially I got 4 nursing bras for $40! Which I was totally excited about.
Just get a cheap regular bra in whatever size fits you now.
I wouldn't buy nursing bras yet since there's no way to know what size you're going to need after your milk comes in. It's best to wait a few weeks for your supply to regulate first. In the meantime, you can get by with nursing tanks and sleep style nursing bras where sizing doesn't need to be as exact. Target does have some good, affordable ones.

I got this exact deal as well. I still wonder about the milk coming in part and hoping that they will fit right, but the lady told me at the store that you don't want to get bras after milk comes in because of engorgement. I am a FTM so I don't know if this is exactly true or not, but I listened to her. She better be right.
Thanks a lot!! I will check out target. and the Bra extenders sound wonderful!
Do they sell the bra extenders at target to? Can't believe I have never heard of them!
She meant that you shouldn't get bras right after your milk comes in, not that you shouldn't buy them at all after your milk comes in. You will be engorged at first, that's why in my reply I said that it's best to wait a few weeks for your supply to regulate.

I too am rocking well-priced Motherhood bras. I also am a huge fan of the much pricier, but so worth it Bravado Bliss bra. You can really feel the difference, but like PP have mentioned, wait until after your first week or so of nursing to see how big you'll end up.
I got mine from Amazon for just a few bucks. They're so small, they just came in a normal size envelope. They come in various colors & sizes. I bought my maternity bras, which cup-wise fit great but the rest was digging into my back so the extenders really helped!
