Dress Up Clothes Storage

DD's dress up clothes are outgrowing the little cardboard trunk we keep them in. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for storing this stuff. I'd love to hang it up but allow her to still have easy access to the stuff when she wants to use it. I don't really want to keep it in her closet.

We have them hanging up in my classroom by little Command hooks.  They are not permanent and won't damage the walls.  That way they can be lower and on their level.  It is also good practice for them to hang things up by themselves.

 DH and I have made this for Rowan for Christmas.  It was easier than we thought, and we had less than $50 in materials.  We even added casters and a shelf on top for extra storage.

Alternatively, if you google dress-up wardrobe, you find quite a few companies make these, including Kidkraft.

I got a wooden coat rack/hanger/shelf thing that was painted pink and said princess...it has 3 pegs on it. I think i got it from HomeGoods for like $10 a while ago.  We hung it on the wall at about 3 ft. in our playroom right in the corner. On the other side of the corner we hung a mirror and a little side table to make like a vanity, so that's her dress up corner.  We hang all her costumes up on it and also have a big pink plastic tub in the corner on the ground to just throw shoe, jewlery, wands, tiaras, etc. in.

I just created a "princess boutique" for DD in her playroom by using a tension rod placed between the TV cabinet and a wall. Her princess dresses are hung up on the rod and I have storage drawers on the floor for her shoes and accessories. There is also a mirror there.
