s/o toy storage, what about trucks?

DS has several tonka trucks and other trucks that size. Currently they are parked in his room along the wall or in the closet. I can't think of anything else to do with them. They're kinda big so I can't just throw them in a bin or box. Anyone else been able to come up with storage for these things?

We have a playroom, as you know, and I've been on Jay about putting up some low shelves so we can store the plethora of trucks on the shelves.  Just so they're off the floor and not in the way.  I don't keep out more than 4 of the bigger trucks at any one time.  I rotate them out and keep the rest in the closet of the playroom.  All the smaller cars and trucks and wheeled items get tossed into either their toy box (from Ikea) or a small basket thingie I got from Target and then it gets shoved into the shelf of their bookcase.
