I'm thinking about getting one for Christmas because i hate vacuuming, but the Roombas are pricey. I am looking for feedback/ reviews before purchasing. If it actually works well, it would be worth every penny. Does anyone here have any feedback? Thanks!
Re: Anyone have/had a Roomba (or other robot vacuum thing)?
I've sold a few different models in the past, and we currently have a 530. They're great if you know the limitations. It's not a deep cleaner, you'll need to use a normal vac occasionally, but it helps a lot for in between "real" cleanings. They work well on low pile carpet, hardwood, etc.. But have a hard time on thick carpet. Be prepared to replace the $50 battery every 18 months, no matter how you cycle them they're doomed to fail.
Ditto this. If you have lots of dog hair I would not recommend it; ours broke very quickly but we have two hairy GSDs.
