  • ...if you are 12 dpo and you used frer and there as absolutely nothing there, not even a hint of a line, i would say yeah, the odds are against you.  you will probably get lots of responses saying otherwise and there are a couple examples on the PAIF board where it didnt show up until 13 or 14dpo.  but with frer, i would say that the odds are against you.
  • Honesty appreciated!

  • You may still be a little early. I'm on my phone so I can't post the link, but if you google embryo growth post transfer the a fertility clinic in nyc has a chart. At 7dpt hcg is beginning to be produced. You might have a late implanter or not enough hcg to detect yet. Hang in there!

Thanks, Ann! I know that chart - I have been staring at it all weekend and have the d@mn thing memorized. Oh the mental abuse and torture!

  • I'm right there with you. My beta is Thursday and I haven't tested. DH wants me to wait for the blood test.

Too funny! My husband said the same thing. I obviously didn't listen. He got upset with me this morning and I screamed at him that it wasn't all about him. Then I felt bad. And then I got mad at him again. And than I started crying. It's almost comical. I honestly can't wait for this all to be over. I hope our marriage can survive another 2 days! :)

I'm wishing us both the best of luck that I can summon!

that's why i asked what brand she used.  frer detects as low as a level of 5 mIU hcg.  there is a woman on my other board that got a + on the frer, went in for a beta immediately, and the level came back at 3.5. obviously the frer line was very, very, faint.  but the "not enough hcg to detect yet" doesnt usually apply to frer, that's why i asked what brand she used.

OBs and REs are in denial about how sensitive this test is.

. You may be right, but I'm trying to be positive.
