I got a positive on my OPK this morning for the first time ever!  And yesterday I think I had some good CM.  We have already tried for today, now I need some advice.  I know when you get a positive it means you're supposed to O in the next 24 to 36 hours.  Should we try again tomorrow, or wait the every other day like my doctor suggested?  I just don't want to miss any chances!  Thanks so much, and keep the dust coming please!

I was never too great at the charting thing but I think once you get the positive opk you shuold have sex every day until the positive goes away.  I'm not 100% sure on the fact of that but I would do it that way.

Yay for a positive OPK!  I would try again tomorrow unless you know your DH has sperm issues.  One other thing to think about, it sounds like you have been doing OPKs for awhile without getting a positive?  The best time to test and catch your surge is from about 12pm-4pm rather than first thing in the morning.  You just have to make sure you hold it for a couple of hours so your pee is concentrated enough.  GL, hope this is your cycle!!!

Thanks for your advice ladies!  I have been doing them a while now, but I went to the doctor last week and she said that I am either not ovulating or just sometimes randomly ovulating.  I get blood work done on the 19th to see if I do, and if not to see why I'm not.  So I'm really hoping it all works out this time around to save me from having to go to meds or any further steps.
