If you wear low cut underwear, how soon after the c section do you wear them again? I was given several pairs of the mesh underwear at the hospital so I'm still sporting them, but am almost done with my stash. I'm not looking forward to buying granny panties, but am a little nervous about the low cut ones I have irritating the incision.

Re: Underwear
You can generally wash the mesh ones a couple of times.
That said, until the incision is really well healed, I'd go with nothing near the incision. I paid the price of wearing a pair too soon and it became red, inflammed and irritated. Hurt for 2 days. So not worth it.
I'd pick up a pack of granny panties, and wear those at least a month.
I was in regular underwear by 9 or 10 weeks pp.
I'm still larger than I was before I got pg, so I'm still in Granny panties.
At least they are comfy!
1st time I was wearing regular underwear by around 6 days
2nd time I grabbed more of a stash so I wore those for a week and a half. Honestly I was so numb that I didn't even think about them bothering me.
My low-rise technically fit now, but they continue to roll down over my flabby belly which is annoying, therefore I now prefer high-rise. Victoria's Secret high-cut cotton undies 5/$25 are the best! I acutally sent DH out to get me some within the first few days of being home from the hospital, and I've since bought more in a smaller size now that I've lost weight.
