Is this normal?

  For the past couple of weeks I have had an increase in vaginal pain. Not sharp pains just a sort of ache. I am at 30 weeks so I thought increased hormones and baby position might be the cause. Also when I laugh I have to clench because I feel as if I am about to have an accident. I meant to ask my doctor last visit but got distracted by other questions. Thanks for the help!

I'd call it normal, but it's worth mentioning to your doctor.  They can make sure it's not a yeast infection or urinary tract infection.  In general though, baby is getting cramped by this point.  If you feel a lot of hiccups very low, it's probably the baby.

i think that is normal.  i've felt a little of that too.  maybe the baby starting to make its way down.  as long as you don't have any bleeding, i think you are ok.  if it will make you feel better, call your drs office to let them know.  good luck!

I would get pains down there, they were sharp and achy. My midwife told me it was probably the baby pressing on my sciatic nerve. I think it is normal. You should still mention it though, you can never be too careful.

Around that time is when I started getting those pains too.  Some times were sharper and more painful than others.  Sometimes a stabbing pain, other times a dull ache.  And many times I'd feel like I was about to pee myself and there were times that the trickles were unpreventable.  Everytime I mention it to my OB she just laughs and says yep, normal.  But, trust your instinct and if it's too painful or just doesn't feel right call, L&D.
