Neighbor backed into DH's car last night and dented driver side. It's a Toyota so we may use their body shop, but wanted to see if anyone had any recs for a reputable body shop. Saw that Capital Ci ty Coll ision has great Yelp reviews.....
I just used Exp re ss A uto Body and their customer service was fantastic. They did a really good job too. They also price matched a competitor. They're in RR near the RR outlets. Not sure what part of town you're in.
tiffanya5412's DH does auto body work - we've used him previously and he did a great job. I don't know exactly where he's working these days but I would highly recommend him.

He's working at Champion Toyota's Body Shop on S. IH 35
Thanks for the help so far, ladies. Would have helped if I would have said we'd prefer a place in central or south Austin.
Tiffany5412- I think we'd prefer a local place in the interest of having a cheaper estimate, but if we do go to Champion, could we request your DH? If so, pls PM me his info. Thanks!

You can absolutely request Aaron A (there's 2 Aaron's) if you go to Champion Toyota South. Are you paying out of pocket? If so, going to the cheaper shop doesn't matter - deductible is the same no matter where you take it. Beware cheaper shops - basically, you pay for what you get and sometimes safety is something they're not necessarily concerned about - it's often the bottom dollar. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to help regardless of where you go.
FYI - the place you mentioned before has actually been known for some shady things. If you're looking for a local shop check out Don's Paint & Body at 12th & Lamar. It's where DH used to work. Been family owned & operated for 40 years and if you google them they get awesome reviews. They're begging to get DH back but can't meet his needs financially. But if you do go there ask to have Scott work on your car.

I'll second the rec for Don's. We had a great experience with them when our car needed some work due to an accident.
