Reality hit today...

...in the form of a dr. appt reminder for my son. It is for his 1 year check up on March 12th. I literally teared up at the mailbox. I really cannot believe that my bean is going to be a toddler. I quickly collected myself at the mailbox, came inside and showed DH. His response was not quite as dramatic. If I am this emotional at the site of a dr appt reminder I cannot imagine what state of mind I will be in on his actual birthday...just thought I would share.

I completely understand. Now, when I see pictures of LO, I am starting to see an actual child and not a little baby. Things also start to set in when I see new borns, and I think, "look at the tiny little baby". My twenty pound LO looks like an ogre next to them. Time really does fly.
