When is the bleeding going to stop? :/

I remember bleeding for quite a few weeks after my first vaginal birth, but I'm 4 weeks pp and still bleeding (about 2 pantiliners-worth a day).  It's stopped twice for a day or two & then started up again (*throw underwear in garbage*).

When did the bleeding finally stop completely for you?  Even when it stops, I'm afraid to not wear a pad because I've already had to throw out 2 pairs of panties!

I didn't stop bleeding till 5-6 weeks. I went an extra week wearing pantyliners just to be safe because it had stopped for a few days here and there and I ruined a few pairs of underwear. When you haven't had bleeding for a week then I would say it's safe to stop with the liners.

5.5 weeks, got mirena placed at 6 weeks, period officially started at 7 weeks..ugh

Mine stopped at three weeks, but I thought (up to) six weeks was pretty normal

I bled for 11 weeks and needed a lot more than 2 pantiliners a day.  My doctor wasn't that concerned but it was getting a little old by the end.  Ugh gross.

I had a few weeks where it would come and go but it completely stopped by 11 weeks PP

I bled for six weeks at least with each of my sections.

Mine went for 4 weeks.  It had really tapered down after the first 2-3 weeks but not slow enough just for a pantyliner.  Then it was gone and the day after my six week check up, my period came back.

I'm 9 weeks PP and still bleeding.  I had an IUD put in when they did the C-section, and my doctor told me I could experience bleeding/spotting for up to 6 months...as if getting in the mood for intimacy and feeling sexy weren't difficult enough with a newborn!
