Increasing feeding amounts

BFing is not going well for us, so DS is still getting a majority of his feedings through a bottle (expressed BM).  He is 1 month old (37w2d adjusted) and weighs around 6.5 lbs.  How much milk were you giving at this point?  I am giving him a little under 2 oz, but I just don't know if that is enough/too much.

    My LO is 39 weeks adjusted and eats 2-3 oz every 2-3 hours.

    around that time we were doing around 2oz at each feed. 

     

    if u r hoping to breastfeed have u contacted an LC? i only wish i had done so sooner.

    oh at 37wks DS was still in the hospital and i think his 3hr amount was 35-40cc

    I had a pretty bad experience with the LCs when DS was still in the NICU.  I am going to a La Leche meeting on Tuesday.  Hopefully I will get a little help there!
