What are you doing this weekend? Anything fun? I am going to a Christmas party tonight. MIL is going to watch DS, and I am looking forward to an "adults" only night. Sunday we don't have any plans which is nice. Hopefully I can get some stuff done around the house.
Do you have a favorite Christmas decoration? I like anything with snowmen on it. I think my favorite though is a musical snow globe that I got my mom for Christmas one year. I remember going to pick it out and I just thought it was so special and perfect for her.
What is your favorite kind of cake? I like yellow cake with chocolate frosting and carrot cake. I want some cake!
If you could be anywhere in the world right now where would you be? I would be at home in bed. It was really rough waking up today to go to work.
What are you doing this weekend? Anything fun? I'm going shopping in a bit with my Mom and Grandma. Sunday I plan on sleeping in and doing some more shopping.
Do you have a favorite Christmas decoration? I guess my Christmas tree. I tend to decorate it something different every year. Let's just say my tree is never the same thing two years in a row. I have a lot of bulbs lol.
What is your favorite kind of cake? I don't like cake.
If you could be anywhere in the world right now where would you be? Las Vegas
It's H's birthday so pretty much whatever he wants to do. So far we are watching the Video Game Awards tonight (eyeroll), watching Cars 2 sometime, and eating lots of cake.
I have a moose made out of birch bark that is pretty damn cool. I love shopping for clearance decorations after Christmas.

A carribbean cruise. It'd be so nice to go somewhere that doesn't involve any driving. And food is included.

I usually love having the tree up too. But this year I feel like it is Lucas vs. the tree all day long.

What are you doing this weekend? Anything fun? I took yesterday off work and did most of my Christmas shopping and ran some other errands. Today I have to go to Wal-Mart to pick up our Christmas cards and a toy I ordered for LO. I'm going over to MIL's for awhile this afternoon. She has my neice & nephew and they want to see Joshua. Tomorrow is church, come home and relax and then take older DS to his church youth group party - they are having a bonfire. DH is working 12 hour day shifts so it is all on me.
Do you have a favorite Christmas decoration? All of my Dr. Seuss collection - I have a whole tree of ornaments, a grinch village, a doll name 'Wendy Loves the Grinch' (my name is Wendy) and a lot of other items I've collected over the years.

If you could be anywhere in the world right now where would you be? Somewhere relaxing with a nanny to help me with LO

I have to review for finals. And SIL is in town so we are getting the LO's together. Wish they could spend the whole weekend together but I have to study.

What are you doing this weekend? Anything fun? Tonight is MIL's 50th birthday party. I was really looking forward to it because she always has a huge buffet of liquor but now that I'm KU, it doesn't sound so fun. DH's best friend is going to though and he doesn't drink so at least I'll have someone sober with me (he's a really great guy, I was 9 weeks pregnant at our June wedding and he spend the entire day bringing me water and danced with me the whole reception), right now we're actually hanging out with DH's best friend and they're trying to teach me to play Majic cards (however you spell it) but it's obviously not working. Tomorrow we're going to the mall kid-less and maybe having a date.
Do you have a favorite Christmas decoration? I love decorating the fireplace. Last year I made my own garland with lights, put some pretty decorations on the mantel, and hung the stockings. It was really pretty with all the presents family sent us sitting around it with a fire going. My mom has a really pretty fire place too and I want to make her a garland for it.
What is your favorite kind of cake? Either red velvet with chocolate icing and a huge class of milk or confetti with chocolate or confetti icing. Oh, or lemon cupcakes with raspberry icing. Yummm
If you could be anywhere in the world right now where would you be? Doing the same thing we're doing now but in our own home. It's really hard to live on your own and then move back in to your moms house with a kid and a husband, even if it is only for a couple months.
