It's been a lot less frequent than it used to be. H is super tired lately since they're actually doing stuff at work now instead of sitting on their arses. He's gone 12 hours a day so I can't really blame him. When he does want it, it's like 5am on a weekend. Uh, no thanks. If the baby is not up, *I'm* not up.

I know a lot of people really get into it when they are pregnant. I was so the opposite, I could never get the baby out of my mind. When I went on bedrest they said no sex, I was like "Phew!!" No sex for 6 weeks after I had her and I was like "Oh heck yeah!" Then I had the D&C 5 weeks after the birth and they said no sex for 4 weeks. LOL. My poor H.

I might try to get some courage and ask the dr about this on monday. I have no idea why imlike that. I thought with age you wanted it more. That is NOT me. Glad Im not the only one!

I'm not - just prenatal vitamins. I've never had much of a sex drive though - you Marsam? I thought too that getting older will help - well, I'm 31. I would say I enjoy it a bit more when it gets going than I did in the past but it's not where it should be.

My sex drive sucks.  It's even worse during pregnancy.  I blame Prozac, but I feel better taking it, so there is the conundrum.

im not on bcp either, but i keep thinking i should get back on because my acne is outrageous and that seemed to help. Im 31 too, my sex drive has been gone for awhile.

I don't feel like quoting everyone so...

SweetH, I wanted it so bad 3rd tri but DH was not having it.  1st and 2nd tri are good for us.  Probably the best sex yet.  For some reason we both get much more into it and have been the most adventurous while I'm pregnant (both times so far).  

I've also always heard that a womans sex drive peaks around 30.  Marsam, don't be afraid to talk to your doctor if you're honestly thinking about it.  DH's friends, wife had no sex drive at all and it turns out something (he couldn't remember what) was to low and all she ended up needing was some vitamin and his friend said she was wanting it all the time.  He said she ended up feeling better all around as a person too.  Win win.  

Doodle, that crap killed my sex drive too.  DH would try to turn me on and I was just like "ehhh whatever".  It mellowed me out too much.  

ETA: MrsLynnyD, prenatal vitamins?  Is there something you need to tell us???

Have you tried Proactiv? I hear it works wonders.

 

My sex drive was crazy during 2nd & 3rd tri of both my pregnancies. When I'm breastfeeding though I want absolutely nothing to do with it. It must be the change in hormones. I'd do it but got nothing out of it, which did nothing for DH. Things have evened out since then though.

MrsH - I'm still taking prenatal since I'm still BF. Nothing exciting - although we aren't preventing either. But, we barely get along long enough to DTD so who knows!
