Off Topic....stressing out.

I can't think of anything to get for my dad for Christmas this year.  It's really hard because he is out of town all the time and basically lives out of hotels (for work).  It used to be easier because you could get him things for the kitchen because he loves to cook.  However, my parents are getting divorced, and my mom is the one still living in the house.  Since he spends the majority of his time out of town anyways, he doesn't have a house or an apartment yet.  Basically, his whole life has to be able to pack up and travel with him in his truck.  I don't know why I'm stressing so much, but if I can't think of anything good soon, I just might cry.  Help me please.

Not sure how much you want to spend, but maybe a Kindle with Amazon GC? Easy to carry around and if he's traveling a lot it would be great to bring along to keep him busy. Or maybe an iPod shuffle to listen to music? Also small and good for entertainment.

I guess I am just saying I would say try and find something that makes his time traveling and in hotels better and more convenient. Nice slippers to wear after a hard day? Portable iPod dock so he can listen to music in his room? Headphones for the plane?

Just spit balling...

These are all great ideas, unfortunately every single one was done either last year or the year before.  See my dilemma?  He honestly has everything that he could need or has room for.

I was thinking something for his truck, but I'm shooting blanks.  Maybe it'll come to me.  I suggested a digital picture frame so that we can upload photos of ourselves and our LO when he is born (It'll be his first grandchild), but my brother doesn't think it's a good idea.  What do you guys think?

Frames aren't easy to transport and I am not sure if a digital picture frame is easier/harder than a regular one. Does he have a GPS? I am guessing yes, but if it's old you could either get him a new one or load his GPS with pictures. 

Seat massager for his truck?

Better stereo system or speakers?

I should ask my dad if he has any ideas. He is on the road a lot in his truck and might have some good ideas.

Does he like to listen to books when he is driving? What about some books on tape/cd?

This is what I was thinking. New luggage or any of those cool gadgets at Brookstone. Hey have a lot of travel gadgets.

All great ideas.  I think I'm going to go shopping tomorrow.  We have a brookstone in our mall, so I think I'll start there and see where it takes me.  I can't believe I'm actually letting Christmas shopping stress me out.  Not cool.  Thanks ladies.
