Who mixed clomid with injectables (menopur)?

What was your regimen? The nurse said if the RE decides to do that, I'd take clomid CD4-8 and then menopur day 9. If that is the case, how many days of menopur?

If you did straight menopur, how many days did you do it? I'm just trying to figure out how many vials I'll need to buy as this is my first meds OOP.

I'm so nervous...I'm afraid I'm going to mess this up. This one particular nurse is not very helpful. Hopefully he explains it well to me at my baseline.

Is this for an IUI?

I mixed femara and gonal for my IUI's. I did femara days 3-7 and added gonal days 7 - ?. They will monitor you and tell you when to trigger. I think I was on gonal for 4-6 days... not too long...

It's hard to say how long you will stim on the Menopur.  Everyone is different.  It also depends on how well you respond to the Clomid.  When I used Clomid it did nothing for me so my RE started me on Menopur and that first cycle I stimmed for 14 days (I know that's a long time!)  My 2nd cycle I used Femara first and then stimmed w/Menopur for 9 days.  This last cycle I only stimmed for 5 days.  So it's hard to say.  I think most people stim for about 4-9 days on average.  It also depends on what dosage they prescribe.  My pharmacy typically will only give me 1 box (5 vials) of Menopur each time I pick up (it's so annoying).  Hope that helps.  Good luck to you!
