DH's interview is Wednesday, yay for not missing our trip (kind of). I'm super scared to drive there, but it will all be fine.
Onto the RE. He told me all the same sh!t I heard the first time. I'm too fat to get pregnant. He thinks I am not ovulating properly. He is however willing to pursue testing on me. So Monday I got for CD21 blood work (which is actually CD22) and an exam. He faxed over my lab request so I can schedule my HSG CD6-10. I am hoping I will be in town to do this, it's looking like it may be right when we get home. This whole weight thing is really getting me down. DH and I have been trying so hard to lose weight, and I feel like he wouldn't even listen to us about it. Whatever. At least I can get some testing done to be sure there isn't an underlying issue going on.
My trip to the RE was a PITA. We were almost 40 mins late (I got lost). When we got there Dr had an emergency surgery. My appointment was at 3, I didn't get into the office until after 4:30. My blood pressure was through the roof. It took us over an hour to get home, a trip which should take 30 mins.
Re: Update on Mr. & Mrs. Rawr
im so sorry. I am glad he is going to give you testing and hopefully you will get good news.I hope he takes your concerns seriously and gets you the help you need.
I am new to this group so I am not sure what you have tried to lose weight but i have PCOS, hypo thyroid and irregular periods. I did weight watchers and lost about 30 pounds and it really worked for me. I am not sure if you have tried weight watchers before but if you would like to I can help you out. I had such success with it that I am a leader now. I know how frustrating losing weight can be. I could NEVER lose more than 3 pounds before ww. We tried for over a year to get pregnant with no luck but after I lost the weight I got pregnant the next month. I am not sure if that had anything to do with it but my periods are less irregular now. I wish you the best of luck and just wanted to let you know that I am here to support you if you want. Sometimes just having someone who is/was in the same boat as you helps.

Rawr-
can you consider a low glycemic diet like south beach or something? I know a person who needed to jumpstart and lose weight quickly for a surgery and she had success.
maybe a group fitness class like Zumba or low impact water areobics?

Sorry to hear the RE was not what you were hoping for, but I'm glad he's willing to at least get the ball rolling with you!
Good luck to Mr. Rawr!!!!! I'm sure he'll do fine!
As for the RE. I'm glad he's doing testing at least, I hope that maybe within that time he'll change his mind and have some course of action for you!
