BG 4.0 Question

I bought 2 of the above diaper to try them out (night only) and when I liked them, I bought 4 more.  The original 2 have begun to yellow and the plastic lining on the shell is starting to crack.  What is causing this to happen?  Is there any way to fix it?

Since I only CD at nights, I wash diapers every 5 days so I bleach every time.  Could that be the culprit?  I'm bummed that these diapers aren't going to last too much longer.  They are only about a year old.

What "plastic" are you talking about?  The part that's between the liner and the colored outer part?  You definitely shouldn't bleach them every time you wash them, also, if you're only washing every 5 times, they're probably getting mildew which will weaken the material as well.

No wonder they're falling apart. You're only supposed to bleach once a month, max, and you're not really supposed to go more than 3 days without washing. It says all that in the info that comes with the diapers. I'm surprised they've lasted so well.
