Potuna sandwhich!

I was watching reruns of Reba and they were talking about tuna sandwiches and how their mom used to put potato chips on the sandwich and call it a potuna sandwich. I am now eating a delicious toasted potuna sandwich. MmMmmm I forgot how good these taste! We made them all the time growing up I'm in heaven!

  • Glad you found something yummy! Just make sure you heat up your tuna before eating it! A lot of pregnancy books say to stear clear of tuna because it can contain high amounts of mercury. But I also read if you heat it up it can be okay!

If you're eating canned tuna, you should limit it to three 6-oz servings per month.  An Ahi tuna steak, for example, should be avoided.

My pedi gave the same information last time around.

Yeah I saw this https://www.fitpregnancy.com/nutrition-recipes/prenatal-nutrition/face-it-safe-eat-canned-tuna-during-pregnancy One person saying yes, one person saying no. Honestly the no no food list during pregnancy is SO confusing! I hate any kind of fish, I hate hate hate sea food. Sad I miss out on the omega 3, but one less thing I have to worry about on the no no list, lol.
