sooo...we''re starting some real solid food tomorrow. Think I'm going with some Avocados...
Question for ya...it seems there are two settings on the machine...steam and blend right? For what reason would you use the steam. I'm doing avocados then sweet potatos ... can I do the whole process of the sweet potatoes in this machine? Assuming for the avocados/bananas I can just blend them into a puree but how do you do squash, sweet potatoes, turnips...apples...yada yada yada...food you have to cook first?
so confused how to use this machine.and the instruction manual/cookbook that came with it doesn't help much
Re: Beaba users...help a dummy out :o)
so i guess I'm confused...what foods do you need to cook that you would use in the beaba? I assume I would do all apples, pears, swt potatoes...etc either baked first or boiled first...why is there even a steam setting...
I mean am I complete idiot or just not seeing something lol
The steam setting is there so that you dont have to use a different appliance (vegetable steamer/boiling water/oven) to cook your food...you'd just be able to steam it in the Beaba and then dump it in to blend when it's done. It's for convenience...
I dont personally have one; but I've been looking at the baby Brezza which does the same thing (except it steams (read: cooks) the food then blends it in the same container as soon as it's done without having to intervene).
PS. I LOVE your siggy pic! We have a boxer too at home...he's so wonderful with DS!
