my cousin posted this on fb yesterday...I was like, um, even my 2yo knows they aren't healthy (but that doesn't stop her from screaming "I want junky cereal!" in the grocery store. damn marketers)!

It's not. My kids also LOVED them. At least only one of their favs is on the junky list: Captain Crunch, introduced by MH who also still loves them and will buy them even if I don't.
Sadly, none of their fave are on the healthy list. Everyonce in a while, DD will ask for Cheerios but its so long in between that they go stale.
I bet people see Vitamin A or fiber and just think good...
This is news to people? Seriously, they're kids cereals, they're sweet, of course they're not the healthiest choice! I'm not saying I haven't had them (in fact, marshmallow cereal is a staple for every now and then for both my husband and myself), but this shouldn't be a shocker for anyone.
And BTW, remember when Honey Smacks were called Sugar Smacks? hint hint!
