Hi, I live in Temple (about an hour north of Austin). My SIL and her kids are coming up from Sugar Land for the weekend and we are trying to find something fun to do with the kids for an afternoon (prob Friday). We don't want to go all the way into Austin, we were hoping to find something in Georgetown or Round Rock. Anyone have any suggestions? We have two 2-yr olds and one 4-yr old. Thanks.

Re: Georgetown/Round Rock
I'm in Temple, too
There's the Inner Space Caverns in Georgetown. There used to be a Jungle Java in Round Round but it either closed or they changed the name.
There's stuff to do around Temple if you look hard enough
Are you determined to get out of town for the day? BLORA has their lights going on but that's at night. But the weekends will have the Santa's Workshop thing. The Belton Christmas parade is on Saturday, maybe 4pm? They're having their market day at the same time.
Or if you'd rather drive to Waco - closer than RR anyway - the Mayborn Children's Museum is awesome.
It's called Monkey Champ now.
Round Rock is having Christmas Family Night at 6:30. There's some info here: https://www.roundrocktexas.gov/home/index.asp?page=9&recordid=16725
Cool, I found that Safari Champ place in Round Rock... looks perfect! We want to go to the RR/GT area because we're also meeting a friend from Austin.
