We plan to move our LO #2 into LO #1's room within the next couple months (around 5 or 6 months old)... for those of you who have moved the kids in together, any strategies to share?

My kids began sharing a room when DD2 was six months old. The first two nights were tough to get #2 to sleep, because she just wanted to talk and play since she could see #2. But she got over it quickly and it's all been good. I don't have trouble with them waking each other up or anything. Occasionally they stay up a little and"talk" to each other, but eventually one falls asleep and the other follows suit. I think they really like sharing a room. #2 loves seeing what #1 is up to. It's also easier on me to go through the nightly routine in one room.
We took the plunge when DD2 outgrew her bassinet. She was 3 months. Both girls wake up at least once a night but somehow they don't wake each other up. DD2 is a night owl, so I put DD1 down first and DD2 usually follows an hour later.
We just started this a couple days ago. I am having an issue b/c LO #1 doesnt like LO#2 in her room sooo we have had to put LO#2 down and then a hour later put LO#1 down so she doesnt know he is in there!
