I feel like it helps me to have things to look forward to... this week I have a good one. One of my best friends who is one of the few people I can really talk to and don't feel like I have to be "ok" in front of is coming to visit me. She was supposed to come and meet Peyton around now, and unlike most people who aren't coming anymore (like DH's family) she is still coming to see me. It means a lot and I just booked us a spa day. I can't wait to see her and to go do something for me.

Re: What do you have to look forward to?
I am looking forward to the holidays. I didn't think I would want to celebrate much this year, but my daughters are so fun and filled with the wonder of Christmas that I can't help but want to celebrate with them.
After the holidays, we are moving to Idaho to live near our best friends. I am sad to give up Hawaiian winters, but so so excited to live near my bestie. She loves my girls like her own and they can't wait to live near Auntie Ria.
I am actually looking forward to the holidays.Last year we didn't celebrate at all because we were up in Boston with A.While I wish she was here,I am also happy to have a normal family holiday.I was surprised by how much I missed it last year.
I am looking forward to having Sunday off and just having a lazy day.During the holiday season,my job pretty much requires me to work all weekend (930-6 Fri,11-730 Sat,and 11-6 on Sunday). This coming weekend is my manager's required long weekend,so she was nice enough to give me Friday and Sunday off.I can't wait.

Our first wedding anniversary is at the end of this month so Hubby and I are going to Baltimore for two nights to celebrate. It will be nice to get away for a bit but I will miss home and our animals.
In March we'll be going to New Orleans for a few days. I love NOLA, it is a special place to me. I was so looking forward to our first trip to NOLA with Sylvie. This trip will be in her honor. We're running a half marathon and we're going to make up "Team Sylvie" shirts. My parents, sister, and nephew will be joining us as well. I think we will have a nice time.
