Update on my sons doc appt

Okay so I posted yesterday about being worried about my son because not eating well. Acting like having trouble swallowing and not really sleeping anymore. Well went to the doctor today doctor said that he does not have strep throat and not sure why not sleeping. He is supposed to go into the GI specialist on Dec 19th to determine getting surgery done on his throat do to inflamation caused by asthma and milk allergy.

Well thing I am concerned about is that doctor said that wanted to put him on some herbal medicine if he continues not to sleep that will cause him to sleep. It just seems like that is just masking the problem not solving whatever is causing him not to be able to sleep. What do you all think? I am just worried.
