I like WWF too, but...(random story share)

This story is ridiculous.  Alec Baldwin was kicked off a flight for playing Words With Friends on the plane after the cabin door closed.

I hate people who think the rules don't apply to them, but this sounds like a mess all around.

  • He's such a d!ck.  The doors are closed.  The rules are the rules.  If you're too fancy for rules, Alec Baldwin, then maybe fly private where you have that kind of luxury.  Otherwise, shut your effing iPad.  I would have been FURIOUS if I was on that plane and had my flight delayed because of him.

Word. I enjoy his "schtick" on his funny Capital One commercials, but there's no reason to be such a jerk IRL. I would have been super pissed if I had been on that plane.

  • Meh. I don't think he's a d!ck. I like him.  So he got kicked off. Big deal. Lots of regular people don't think the rules apply to them. Not just celebrities.
  • This morning on the news they were saying he was kicked off bc he got so mad he went into the bathroom and slammed the door loud enough that the captain in the cockpit heard the commotion and made the call to remove him from the flight.

That's what makes him a d!ck. Get over yourself, dude.

And in other news, I ? George Clooney.

Ahh, now that is truly d!ckish behavior. Sorry Jack!

  • What an @ss!  I've been on a flight where something similar happened-woman across from me wouldn't get off phone after 5 warnings then tripped flight attendant on purpose during safety demonstration.  We were origianally on time but ended up delayed 2 hours because we had to find a gate to drop her, have British TSA escort her off and then wait for a new take off slot.  No one is that important-turn the d@mn phone off! Angry

So you don't think it's d!ckish behavior for any passenger, famous or not, to refuse to listen to the flight attendants' requests and/or obey the rules, at the expense of a whole plane full of people?

Maybe we have different definitions of d!ck behavior, because I most definitely think that makes one a d!ck.

I'm sure it is d!ckish. I guess my point is that I don't care. I stopped caring about people being a$$holes in public unless it's being an a$$hole directly at me and honestly, with the current state of air travel pretty much being about fvcking the passenger in the keester, I expect crap to go down.

AND if you looked at my response to FCB's post, I agreed that Alec Baldwin is a douchecanoe.

    Simma down now.
