My LO has never takent to it, although I've only tried maybe 3 or 4 times. Did you pedi suggest it? It was never mentioned at our 9 month appmnt, and I never asked. Just wondering about it.
She'll drink water throughout the day. My pedi mentioned it at our 9 mo appt but only after I said I was giving her some juice w/ water. She said to cut the juice and just give water so that's what I do now.
We do a sippy cup of water with meals. Our pedi didn't necessarily suggest it, but they started doing it at DC and LO seems to like it. He probably takes 3-4 oz of water each day.
She looooves to take sips from open cups or water bottles I have. Her sippy- she will take a couple swigs but never really seems to get any volume down. I am starting to send a sippy to daycare and told the DCP to try giving it to her with meals to see what happends. I definitely feel like she should be drinking more than she is.
She'll drink it out of a glass or a water bottle (like, straight from the store), but she will not drink it from a sippy. Never tried it in a bottle because there hasn't been a need.
when we moved to albuquerque p got really constipated & the pedi suggested giving him water so we have been since about 5mns. but about 1 month ago p started just solely playing with/biting on his sippy cups, we've totally regressed to the point where he basically can't use them. i'm not sure what happened but i got sick of drying spilled water up from everywhere so he doesn't get it very frequently now. i feel kind of selfish, but hopefully when we start introducing some milk he'll get back into enjoying his sippy cup & then he may take water better.

He loves water. He steals sips from my cup, my water bottle.. He is water hog. I usually have a water sippy cup for him to use during the day. He doesn't drink much of it. But I think he likes to play that he is drinking...lol.
I was told to give water at our 6 month I think and so we've been doing that in a sippy ever since. He drinks about 2-4 oz per day and loves it. For the past 2 days though I've been giving WCM instead of water in the sippy.
Re: Water & LO
I have tried to give it to her, but she is not interested in it. My pedi did not mention anything about it and I didnt ask either.
I am curious to see what others are doing.

Cooper will drink water with his meal sometimes. He loves it.
