Update on DD

We met with the surgeon again today. Luckily, the MRSA has stopped growing and she only required a few lacerations today, much simpler than cutting the infection out. Poor DD will likely have a large scar on her abdomen from the nasty infection, but is almost 100% back to normal and feeling so much better.

After the first of the year, we're going to meet with a doctor at Children's who specializes in Infectious Diseases to see if there's some way to prevent this from happening again. This is the third time she's had a MRSA infection that required draining and I don't think she can handle another one. The poor kid's had enough trauma to last her a lifetime. Ugh.

So glad to hear that she is almost 100%! 

Hopefully her getting healthy is a new start for you guys.
