my 17mo old cryed from the time DH brought her home at 5:30 until just a few minutes ago and its just after 7 now what is this crap? this is not just whining im talking about either this is full out crying until she almost pukes. she didn't want dinner, her sip cup, I tryed holding her. DH tryed feeding her too and she got even more worked up. finally he turned on her stupid dragon movie and she quieted down, I about lost it. I just dont know what to do with her when she gets like that. I feel like such a bad mom. any suggestions what to do for this kind of behavior?

Sesame Street is the only thing that works when DS is like that. Or a banana. 

and I wanted to add: tried* (sorry, I couldn't resist) 

ETA: You're not a bad mom. It took a lot of trial and error to find out what would calm DS.

vodka and water with a splash of cran.. here here. Its just so hard she is such a little sweetheart 98% of the time. that terrible 2% kills me. 

thanks for the spelling help ladies I always do that! math is my strong point. spelling: I was always so worried about spelling the big words I forgot about the small ones
