playgroups?

Hey there, I just googled syracuse play groups and came across this board.  I'm typically on the March 2011 Board.  My sister lives in Liverpool, and is looking for play groups in the area.  Or any different activities to get involved in.  She is a SAHM and has a 5 year old as well.  I am just trying to look some things up for her, so if anyone has any information about library groups, or play groups anywhere I'd really appreciate being able to pass it on to her.  Thanks so much! 

 Oh, the new baby is almost 3 months old, if that makes a difference.

I know there a new-ish MOPS group at Northside Baptist which would be sort of near her.  And all of our local libraries have a storytime, she just needs to go to the onondaga county library website for times.  Sometimes we have Syracuse Bump gtg's, so she should start posting on the board

There is MOPS at Northside! We meet every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. So we just met today &the next meeting is the 21st.  she can sign up at northsideonline.org (?) or just show up! It's not a play date persay, but she can meet some mamas and have a good time:) (get out of the house).
