I had 3. I had one at 25 weeks to check Nora out and to determine her gender. I also had one at 40 weeks to find out what was wrong. I had one at 40 weeks, 1 day while I was in labor to monitor her.
With Joey -- I had one at 5w,2d. One at 7w,2d. One at 13 weeks. 3D (paid for) one at 17 weeks to determine gender, One at 18 weeks. One at 38 weeks, one at 39 weeks and one at 40 weeks. So what is that -- 8.
With Cam -- I had one early on (can't remember) and then one at 18 weeks, 22 weeks, 26 weeks, 30 weeks. So 5. She wouldn't cooperate and my OB humored me until we got the money shot!
Way too many to count! One at every checkup with my OB until 20weeks. My 20 week official u/s. Then several more at a high risk center when the 20 week u/s discovered a problem with is kidney.
I was technically only supposed to have 1, but I had three.
1 at 12 weeks because they couldn't pick up the heartbeat on the Doppler.
The big one at 20 weeks.
And one at 38 weeks to make sure Will was still breech. Even though that one was completely unnecessarly. You could totally tell his head was up under my right boob just by touching that area.
Kill all my demons and my angels might die too. -Tennessee Williams
I don't remember exactly, but I had several. I went in at around 10 weeks due to spotting, and that was my first ultrasound (I still can't believe how perfectly formed they are even that young).
I had the "big" u/s at around 18 weeks. Then I had several more to check for growth - I was diagnosed with lupus when I was younger and they wanted to make sure that DS was growing appropriately. Thank God for those extra ultrasounds - that's how they knew DS was breech, one of my docs was pretty sure that he was head down at 37 weeks, but had a quick u/s done to check growth and found out otherwise.
And then of course an ultrasound during the version and another right before the c-section.
With Regan, I had 3, one about 10 weeks due to major cramping, 20 week big ultrasound and one at 28 weeks to check my placenta.
With this one, I had one at 8 weeks, (I got lucky with that one, my dr. just did it because he was bored!) and 20 weeks last week to check everything. I don't know if I will get another this pregnancy or not.
With baby #1: NT scan at 12 weeks, Big U/S at 18 weeks, an extra U/S at 36 weeks because she was measuring so small and they wanted to make sure I didn't have IUGR. (3 total)
With baby #2: 7 weeks (The office had just bought a new U/S machine and they wanted to try it out). NT scan at 12 weeks, Big U/S is scheduled for Nov 3. No more are scheduled, so for now the total is 3.
I think I had 4. The first one to determine EDD at about 6 wks, the "big" one at abt 20 wks, one somewhere btwn 25-28 wks because her belly was measuring big, then another about 32-35 weeks because her measurements were still out of whack. Some parts were measuring further along than others.
With DD - 1 at 20weeks and then a bunch after (Gest. Diabetes and she was breech. Had them about every other week, plus one at the ext. version and one just before the C to determine position again).
With DS - 1 at 12w to re-affirm EDD, and again with the Gest Diabetes only they were weekly after a certain point. I have no clue how many for either, a ton.
I lost count with both pregnancies. I had the typical dating u/s at around 9wks. Then, the u/s as part of the early integrated screen. Then, the typical 18-20wk scan.
Then, I was in for numerous BPP u/s and growth u/s because I don't gain any weight while pregnant. Those both usually start at around 28wks and go every week and then 2x a week as time goes on.
With #2, I also had a kidney scan and she did a once over of the baby for me. With my 1st, I had one at around 25wks because I got an electric shock.
I lost count with DD. I know the big 20w one was the 5th - I had early ones to date the pg and then to check on spotting and bleeding several times. Starting at 31w I had them weekly or more than once a week to check her growth (potential IUGR) and a potential heart problem. I never thought I'd complain about too many u/s, but it really got to be ridiculous after a while!
This time I had one to date the pg at 7w and the big u/s at 20w and have no others planned unless there are complications later on.
#1 - quite a few. I was seeing a RE to conceive and then had major complications from the fertilty drugs once I did conceive so I had several early on. Then, I got a 20w u/s. Finally, I had BP problems and was having them at the end to check the size of the baby and fluid levels the last few weeks.
Since I was a high risk pg, I think I had about 10 in total..... I lost count. My first was at 7 wks, then I had the nst, then every month after & one during the amnio.
With Kate: one at 6 wks because of bleeding NT scan at 12 wks "big" u/s at 17 wks Then, a whole bunch because I had low fluid and PTL. I lost track, but from 32-38 wks (when I had her) I probably had at least 5 more u/s.
With this one, I expect to only have 3: one at 8 wks to date because I had been BFing and wasn't sure of my cycles NT scan at 12 wks big u/s at 19 wks
3 - one at 20 weeks, then a follow-up at 25 weeks because DD was being uncooperative at 20 weeks and they needed a few more readings on her organs. The last one was at 38 weeks so that they could check her position - they suspected breech, but she wasn't.
Two. I had one at my first appointment to date the pregnancy. That was the freebie that the OB did and was not submitted to insurance. The big u/s I had at 19 weeks. I was 10 days overdue, and I still did not get another u/s.

I had one at around 8 weeks, and then 12 weeks for a test, and at 16 weeks because they couldn't find the heartbeat, and then the 20-week one, and then the 33-week one. I think i had one more after that. So maybe 6?
My babies!!
Patrick Aydin, 9.24.07, and Alia Noor, 6.1.11
2 ? One at 19 weeks, and then again at 23 weeks-- They couldn't find the 3(?) arteries in his umbilical cord, 4th chamber on his heart, and nuchal cord.
The first was around 8wks, the second around 20wks.
I did a 4d one, which I paid for that was elective, and then I had one the day before Reagan was born because I had fallen and the docs wanted to make sure everything was ok in there.
With Joshie I had 1. With Jon and Matty,16? Chris, I think I had....18 or 19. I was high risk with J, M and C. With C, I had weekly BPP's from 31 weeks until I had him at 35 week.
I had two with each. The big US at about 18 weeks with each, then another at 36 with Henry because I measured small, a second one with Patrick right after the big US because of some funkiness with my cervix.
3 with Ethan, high 20-30something with Bella (2-3/week for 8 weeks, plus more than usual in the earlier part of pregnancy). I had 5 with this one, all earlier on. I haven't had one since 26 weeks, but I kinda expect a sixth this week.
With DS I had 3 in the first trimester (one at the 1st appt. and the other two due to spotting episodes), three in the second trimester (I see a high risk Perinatologist) and one at the end to estimate DS's weight before induction.
With this pregnancy I've had 4 already, will have one next week again with the Perinatologist and then the 20 wk. u/s.
I have lots due to problems (spotting during both pregs.) and high risk issues.
Re: s/o: How many ultrasounds did you have?
With DD, I had one at 18 weeks.
With DS, I had one at 10.5 weeks to determine EDD. No other ultrasounds.
With #3, I've had two. One at 12 weeks, couldn't get the heartbeat at my OB check. One at 20 weeks.
I had 5:
- a quick one at my 1st appointment (10 weeks)
- The "big" US a little over 17 weeks
- One at 37 weeks to check him out (I had decreased fetal movement)
I also had two 3-D ultrasounds that we did on our own.
Liam is 5!
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
I don't remember exactly, but I had several. I went in at around 10 weeks due to spotting, and that was my first ultrasound (I still can't believe how perfectly formed they are even that young).

DS: 1 NT test, 2 amnio (they didn't do the amnio at the scheduled appt), 1 Big one and 1 NST at the end -- total of 5
DD so far: 1 NT test, 1 amnio, 1 Big -- so 3
DS - December 2006
DD - December 2008
With Regan, I had 3, one about 10 weeks due to major cramping, 20 week big ultrasound and one at 28 weeks to check my placenta.

3, same for ea preg
10wk for dating
24 wks for big, gender
35 wks for size (because i am small)
with ea pregnancy I purchased on at a 3D place at 18wks to find out gender early
3. @10wks, @20 wks & @40 wks (right before delivery to make extra sure she was head down).
I had one at 18 weeks to determine gender and a general check of everything.
I had one at 23 weeks to see if the cyst in ds brain they saw on the first u/s was gone - it was
I had one at 28 weeks to make sure my placenta was okay (it looked low at first u/s) - it was fine
I had then weekly (sometimes twice a week) from 33 weeks on (delivered at 37 weeks) because of preeclampsia and my amniotic fluid was low.
I complained because all of my friends had early u/s and I would only get the one between 18 and 20 weeks. I think I jinxed myself.

With Kate:

NT scan at 12 wks
big u/s at 19 wks
Hopefully no more PTL drama!

3 w/ DD1 and 4 w/ DD2.
Both 7 week & 19-20 week and 37-39 week. DD2 we did a 12 week because we couldn't find a hb via doppler which is scary post m/c.
I believe I had 4.
The first was around 8wks, the second around 20wks.
I did a 4d one, which I paid for that was elective, and then I had one the day before Reagan was born because I had fallen and the docs wanted to make sure everything was ok in there.
One with the fertility doctor and one with my OB.
DD#1--3
DD#2--I think 3, maybe only 2
DD#3--2 so far, I suspect it'll be 4 or more.
With DS #1 I had two. The big U/S at around 20 weeks and another one at around 37/38 weeks to check for growth.
With DS #2, I just had one (the big U/S).
With DD I had over a dozen due to pre-term labor
With #2 I have them at 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 19 weeks, 24 weeks, 28 weeks, and I have a few more scheduled. Due to pre-term labor again.
3 with Isabella (1 to figure out due date, 1 @ 20 weeks and 1 at 36 weeks).
So far I've had 11 for this one, but we were seeing a fertility Doctor and I had 2 u/s a week for 4 weeks, 1 @ 12 wks, 1 @ 20 wks, and 1 @ 24wks.
I expect to have one more at the end to see the baby's posistion.
With DS I had 3 in the first trimester (one at the 1st appt. and the other two due to spotting episodes), three in the second trimester (I see a high risk Perinatologist) and one at the end to estimate DS's weight before induction.
