tell me your picks for this up coming weeks NFL games!!
Steelers will destory the Browns, especially with Colt McCoy playing through his injury
Patriots should take the Redskins no problem, and I'm not just saying that because they're my team. Washington sucks - they're only won two home games all season.
New Orleans will have no problem handling Tennessee

What on earth are you two talking about. lol
She's in a pick 'em league. You have to pick one team in the whole NFL that will win. If they win, you go on to the next week but you can't ever pick that team again. If they lose, you're done.

I'm going to tell my age on this one.... How did I manage my first baby without the internet? Seriously- I had him in 1997 and only had 'The What to Expect' books and advice from other mothers. The internet (mainly TB) opened up a whole new world for me on baby rearing advice.

My SS was born in 98, I imagine it has changed a lot since then. When I went back to college in my late 20's it was crazy how much easier it was to get information. I graduated hs in 98- if you graduated after me- you better zip it about being old. lol

Can you believe my cousin's step-daughter named her baby girl Pistol Leigh? Comment, make jokes, judge, etc. I sure have.
wow
my friend named her baby Bentley..
All baby names from 16 and Pregnant are off limits in this house, lol. I totally side-eye anyone who named their kid one of those names after the show has aired.

Ok, I was worried you were one of those "I graduated in 05, I'm so old!" lol

Sometimes I think the internet causes more trouble than helps. Before the internet people weren't constantly freaked out missed miscarriages. Unless you were bleeding, you were considered ok. But now - you see it SO much on the Bump that you can't help but worry.

I agree. I have a friend who wants to use Jace and while it is not the most horrible of names, I cant get past that it was on Teen Mom.
Do you like to read? If so, who are your favorite authors?
I like murder mystery, as long as its not cheesy. My favorite author for that is Sandra Brown. (The Switch is an amazing book, if you have not read it) I just started to read some James Patterson and I like his stuff too.
Ok, I was worried you were one of those "I graduated in 05, I'm so old!" lol
What did you go to college for?
I have a Bachelor's in History. Yeah - really useful. I went to college to become a pharmacist but flunked Organic Chemistry and fell under the spell of being politically active both in the same semester. I wanted to stay at Chapel Hill so I picked a major I knew I could graduate with.
Now I am a Product Specialist with a company that make construction equipment and answer technical stuff most of the day.

Doesn't that just figure!? Organic Chem does not sound like fun, I had a heck of a time with regular chem as it was.
SweetH, how are you feeling lately? You said you were sick last night, feeling any better? When is your next ultrasound? I can't wait to see more pictures!

Pretty good, actually. I feel like I'm still holding my breath, just waiting for the morning sickness to kick in. This is all too surreal after the hel1 I went through last time.
You said you were sick last night, feeling any better?
Much better! I spent the whole evening in bed. Got up at 7 with A and then took another nap when she did. Now I'm just dying for H to come home so I can take a shower.
My anatomy scan is scheduled for January 30th, but H has field training most of January (no exact dates yet, of course), so it could change. Last time, I didn't tell family when it was just in case baby wasn't cooperative. I'll probably do the same this time around.
Re: Who wants to help me?
What on earth are you two talking about. lol
I hope she carved out an hour of her evening to catch up
Its very tricky. lol

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse.

Reading gives me headaches. I can't even get through a magazine. It's really sad.

To boost post counts:
