Have one by Vtech for DS. We bought it when he first started cruising but the wheels were too "loose" (for want of a better word), it would run away from him and he would fall. Did not matter whether it was on the carpet or on the tiles. We had to put it away, we just brought it back out a few weeks ago because he is now walking so he is better able to control it.
Re: Walk-Behind Toys
Do you mean something like this: https://www.ape2zebra.ca/toy/10918-baby-walker-wagon-haba-canada.aspx
If so they are banned in Canada because of fear of the child getting ahead of themselves and falling. https://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/cps-spc/child-enfant/equip/walk-marche-eng.php

This is what I have. DS never liked using it as the push walker, but now he is starting to use it as a ride on.
We got this one for Z for Christmas. I have no idea if it's any good, though - ask me in a few weeks. :-)
