Homestudy complete, now onto waiting for approval!

We had our home visit on Saturday and it went a lot smoother than I imagined!  Now it is onto waiting for approval!  She said that we should hear something from them within 30 days.  When we were talking about our workshop that we attended last weekend, I mentioned how they stated that we needed to start stocking up on the basics and I asked her opinion when we should start doing so, like after our homestudy gets approved or after our names go on the waiting list, etc.  She frankly said, "I think your placement will come quickly so if you are out shopping today I would pick up some diapers & formula!"  I almost fell out in the floor!  So DH & I had a tearful moment in Walmart yesterday.  As we stood in the baby aisle at Walmart amazed by all of the choices, it really sunk in that we were shopping for OUR baby!  So we got all weepy eyed and hugged each other and let the moment sink in.  It is so crazy!  I think the waiting from this point on will be killer on my nerves!

Oh my gosh... that's exciting!  We should have our home visit to finish up our home study in the next two weeks!
