Nausea and Zoloft

I am new to this board. While diagnosed with PPD months ago, it wasn't till last week that I felt out of control enough to take something. I started Zoloft yesterday and I feel horribly nauseous today. I know it is a side effect, but how long does it usually last? I am miserable.

    Well it probably is just from taking the pill because it isnt really in your system for six weeks.  I would probably eat (if the med label says you can) with it.  It probably is irritating your stomach.  If it continues just call your dr. Feel better :)

    I had nausea for a few days when i started zoloft and when i increased my dose.

    hope it passes soon!

    The nausea may last for a week or two but it WILL go away. Don't give up! Power through it. It will end. You will feel so much better soon. It will totally be worth it, I promise!
