Question about child support

I went to court on Friday and an order was entered for my ex to start paying child support. However,  he never showed up to court. Now my question is that he has a job and gets income from his trust fund/inheritance (which he is ordered to pay from his TOTAL income). I know with his job they filed an income with holding for part of the child support payment but how do they get the rest of the payment from his trust fund/inheritance?? My lawyer said something about him having to voluntary pay me the rest of the amount?? He will never do this...

Is there some sort of executor or head of his trust fund that you could have the court order sent to?  Would they have to follow a court order?  I don't know for certain, but I would think that they would.
