I am going to my first pre-school open house (LANK in Reston if anyone has any input) this week. What questions should I ask? I already know about potty-training, tuition, hours, and stuff...what else should I ask about??
Thanks!

what style of discipline do they use, what is their sick policy, and if it's anything like the school my girls go to - find out when they're closed. (the school my kids go to closes for all sorts of things, for a total of about six weeks a year).
ETA: Ask what curriculum they use - there are about 3 or 4 I found that most preschools use. Then Google the curriculum and make sure the spirit behind it matches what you want for your kid.
Wife, Musician, Fed, WW-er, and Mom of three little kids - not necessarily in that order.
The other questions are great, I would just add one that I wish I asked. Ask about the food if they serve it. Who makes it, what substitutes are available, what is their snack policy. I like our pre-school, but I really dislike the food they serve. Enough that I send lunch on occasion and healthy snacks often.
Re: Questions for Pre-School
ask what he'll learn, what time do they nap? what do they expect of him in terms of independence? How old are the other kids? ratio of teacher-student
