OB/GYN Recs - Buffalo

Hey ladies,

I am due for my annual and I am thinking of changing physicians. As many of you may remember I went to Lewiston for my OB and delivery. It was great but the practice has changed a bit as well as life and I think something closer might be more appropriate. Please recommend your OB/GYN in Amherst, North Buffalo, Kenmore, Tonawanda area.

TIA

  • I used to go to Suburban Women's Health.  They were pretty good.  I didn't really have any complaints (although they only deliver at Suburban and I wanted to deliver at a different hospital the 2nd time).  A lot of people go to the Dr. Erks (man and wife) and Dr. B (really long name).  She was actually at Suburban Women's Health before joining the Erks.
  • My OB/GYN is Dr. Catherine Falkner.  She is AMAZING!  She is with OB/GYN Associates that has an office in Orchard Park and Lancaster.  I live in Tonawanda, but go see her in OP because she is so great!

I go to the Erks in Williamsville and Dr Bazckowski is the one who ended up doing my emergency c-section.  I am very happy with the office.  I know that they are supportive of homebirths too, because the girl who recommended them to me delivered her 4th at home.

  • I see dr samadi and dr osman with buffalo medical group. Their office is on sheridan right near where it goes over transit. I've been very happy with them. And I was also hopihg for a bfp.

  • Another vote for the Erks. The office is on Wehrle in Williamsville (just past Transit) It is a brand new office. I've been going to them for over 10 years now. I primarily see Susan, and I love her. She is so sweet, and really takes her time to get to know her patients. Both her and her husband have called me at home to go over test results (after my mc's) and she even called a few weeks after Evan was born to see how we were adjusting.
  • Sorry about not delivering on the BFP ladies!

Does anyone go to or heard anything about Bartels, Powalski, Weissman, & Cloud MDs in Kenmore?

I know that it might sound funny but when there is a BFP I am thinking that I want to deliver at Sister's.

I also don't really want to travel far so OP and Transit I think are further than I want to go especially if there is someone closer.

  • I go to Buffalo OBGYN.  They are located on Main St. in Snyder.  I live in OP, but ended up following these doctors to their new practice (they split from Omni Group and went out on their own).  It is 4 female doctors and I really like them.  They deliver at Sisters.  I always joke that if I have a 3rd I will really be getting the hospital tour since I had DS #1 at Suburban, then switched to Omni and delivered DS #2 at Childrens and now would be at Sisters (even though I would have the same doctors that I saw at Omni).
