How do you know if a filling came out?

I know I need to go to the dentist. I hate the dentist. But where I have a filling it hurts! every time I eat I purposefully eat on the other side. grrrr. does this mean the filling came out?

    Sounds like it.

    I thought I had something caught between my teeth that I just couldn't get out and then it kept getting worse and worse. I finally went to the dentist and I ended up needing an emergency root canal and a crown. Don't wait! Go...go now! I have really weak teeth so my stuff tends to get bad quickly but once it hurts you need to go. They may still be able to fill it.

    GD that is exactly what it feels like but hurts! I keep flossing and nothing grrrr.. Making appointment now.
