Numbness around belly button

Hi Lades,

 I'm 36 weeks pregnant and I have been noticing a loss of sensation around my belly button, not completely numb but medium numb.  Anyone else have this?

I have a MW appointment tomorrow so I will ask her then but I just was wondering if there were any thoughts on the boards.

    Mine's the total opposite, it's super sensitive around my belly button. Maybe that's the difference a month will make tho? :)

    The whole right side of my belly is numb. It's really bizarre, especially when my Ob does the Doppler!  

     

    My Ob said its decreased sensation from stretched nerve endings. I'm hoping feeling comes back after delivery!!

    I have no feeling from the belly button up...haven't for about a month now.  The doctor said it was just because your abdominal muscles are being stretched/torn, and it damages the nerve endings in them.  I have this constant burning feeling, but when i touch my belly i feel no pressure or pain.  It's very strange!
