What do you call this game?

I'm typing up the invitations for our Christmas party and I'm trying to come up with the name for the game that we always play.  I just don't know what to call it (it's called so many different things).

I call it the White Elephant Gift Exchange...

Where everyone brings a gift and then one by one a person opens a gift and then they have the chance to keep what they got or exchange it with a gift that another person already got, etc.

What do you call it?

We call it Yankee Swap

white elephant implies a sort of gag gift i'm pretty sure - is it cheesy, silly gifts or actual nice things?

 

we do the same type of gift exchange at our annual office xmas party (with "nice" gifts) and i think the invite is written something like "Gift exchange. $20 limit. Guys bring a guy gift, gals bring a gal gift" because we do them separate gender for some reason.

We always called it Chinese Auction.
