it is - and you know when we "ignore" - it does end faster. when questions are asked (ie: grandparents doing this over thanksgiving) it is amplified.

Very interesting - and I love the anecdote about the feet tantrum!  Obviously we aren't there yet, but it's nice to know that the advice I have always heard is backed by some scientific research.

I don't think I would want to be the scientist listening to those tapes all day though...
