If Your LO is in a twin/full size bed

How did you teach them not to jump on the bed? DD is obsessed with jumping on beds. Her bedrails are (finally) coming today so we hope to convert her crib this week to a full size bed. I'm just worried that when we leave her up there for nap/bedtime that all she'll want to do is jump on it. I'm hoping that if we stress that she doesn't, that it works, but just curious if others had this issue as well.

  • We have never allowed it, he knows he has to stay on his knees or bum while on our bed. He just knows better on his own bed. Sorry I can' be more help, it was too dangerous of an activity IMO to ever allow.

  • hmmm... Evan has never really tried to jump in his bed. He did start to one day when he woke up and I just told him to stop or else he'd break his big boy bed. He hasn't tried again since.

He does love to jump on our bed... but he only does it if one of us is holding his hands. DH and him do this thing where he jumps and then DH kinda tosses him on the bed- and then they wrestle, boys...
