I am new to CDing so I apologize if this has been addressed before. I have been washing my pocket/Flip CD's daily or every other day using Dropps plain detergent. I spray Bac out on the diapers, run a cold rinse, wash in hot then 2 rinse cycles. I usually alternate putting the shells in the dryer/hanging dry (every other wash). The MF inserts go in the dryer and the organic ones are hung dry.
Since the first use, my Flip diaper covers have been stained and I can't get the stains out!. I haven't placed the stained ones in the dryer - I'm afraid the stains will set.
After this evening's wash, some of my other Kawaiis shells and inserts have stains too. I hung everything to dry and since its dark and cold, can't really put them under direct sunlight.
I feel like I'm doing something wrong with my wash routine, since it's not working well on stains. Any advice?
Re: can't get stains out!
Stains are normal. The sun is magic. Like you, I don't really have any sun right now so I'm just living with stains until spring.
You're not doing anything wrong.

Thank you! This makes me feel better. I always assumed that you were supposed to get rid of all stains.
I am going to try to put the stained ones in the window tomorrow during the day and see if I can get a little sun on them!
